Introduction

Aurelen Soft (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built the PlanLyst mobile application (“the App”) to help you organize tasks, events, and goals.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

By using the App, you agree to the terms described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Information We Collect

We designed PlanLyst to work with as little personal information as possible.

1. Personal Information

We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information.

2. User Data (on your device)

  • All tasks, notes, and other content you create in the App are stored locally on your device.
  • This data is never transmitted to our servers without your explicit action (e.g., backups, future sync features).

3. Analytics & Crash Reports

With your consent (opt-in):

  • Analytics: We use Simple Analytics to understand how the App is used. This is privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies or track you across apps.
  • Crash Reports: We use Sentry to collect crash data and error logs to improve stability.

You can enable or disable these options at any time in the App settings.

How We Use Information

We may use collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and improve the App’s functionality.
  • To diagnose crashes, errors, and performance issues (if crash reporting is enabled).
  • To analyze usage trends and improve user experience (if analytics are enabled).

Data Storage & Security

  • Your personal data (tasks, notes, events) stays on your device.
  • Analytics and crash report data (if enabled) are processed by our third-party providers (Sentry and Simple Analytics).
  • We use industry-standard security practices to protect transmitted data, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your data.
We only share limited information with trusted service providers (Sentry, Simple Analytics) as described above, and only if you opt-in.

Your Choices

  • You can opt-in or opt-out of analytics and crash reporting at any time from within the App settings.
  • You can delete all data stored in the App by uninstalling it from your device.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App and on our website, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
